Granite Awarded $54 Million Highway Rehabilitation Project in Alaska

WATSONVILLE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Granite Construction Incorporated (NYSE:GVA) announced today it has been awarded a $54 million contract by the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities for the Sterling Highway Rehabilitation and Passing Lanes Project in Sterling, Alaska. The contract will be included in Granite’s second quarter 2017 backlog.

Ferrovial: Ferrovial strengthens its presence in urban services with the acquisition of Trans-Former Group for 37 million euro

Ferrovial, through FBSerwis, has closed the acquisition of 100% of the waste management company Trans-Formers Group from Hossanova. The transaction value is 155 million zloty, equivalent to 37 million euro. The agreement comprises the acquisition of the two companies of Trans-Formers Group: Trans-Formers Wroclaw and Trans-Formers Karpatia.
