CH2M To Repair Naval Stations Damaged by Harvey

Nearly three months after Hurricane Harvey struck Texas, CH2M has been selected to assist with repairs to damage caused by the storm at two Naval air stations.

Walsh Group: Pennsylvania P3 Bridge Project Marks milestone with 350th completed bridge  

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and its Rapid Bridge Replacement Project development partner, Plenary Walsh Keystone Partners (PWKP), recently opened the 350th bridge to traffic. When completed, the multi-year project will allow PennDOT to remove 558 bridges from its structurally deficient list.

L.K. Comstock Wins NYCT Underground Substation Contracts

New York, N.Y. (November 27, 2017) – L.K. Comstock & Company Inc., a leading specialty electrical contractor and a subsidiary of RailWorks Corp., has been awarded two new contracts with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA): one to design and build and the other to build underground substations in Brooklyn. Both projects will increase power capacity on the New York City Transit Authority’s (NYCT) Canarsie line.

Granite/Parsons/Corman Team Awarded $410 Million Interstate Widening and Bridge Project in Virginia
 
WATSONVILLE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Granite Construction Incorporated (NYSE:GVA), Parsons Corporation, and Corman Construction Inc., announced today that their joint venture team has been awarded the Interstate 64 (I-64) Southside Widening and High Rise Bridge, Phase 1 design-build contract by the Virginia Department of Transportation. Granite booked its 50% share of the $410 million joint venture project into backlog during the third quarter of 2017.
